Marjorie Garay+

 

Mrs. Garay is currently a second grade dual-language teacher. She began her career with Fort Worth ISD as a teacher candidate with the Tech Teach Program in 2015. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Bilingual Emphasis from Texas Tech University and her Master's Degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in PK-12 Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University. Mrs. Garay has taught second, third, and fourth grades during her seven years at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard, and she loves being part of a magical place, where teachers, scholars, and staff become family. 

Mrs. Garay is passionate about teaching and helping scholars reach their full potential. She is a firm believer in recognizing the story of each student and knowing that a child's academic environment can be affected by home life and adult/peer relationships. It is necessary to understand all aspects in order to assist in a scholar's growth.  

Mrs. Garay has been happily married for fourteen years and is blessed with a set of amazing teenage twins. In her spare time, she enjoys entertaining her family and friends, reading motivational books, and participating in hot yoga.

Breanna Kimbley

 

Ms. Kimbley has been teaching at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard since 2020. She has eleven years of teaching experience, which includes teaching first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades. She graduated from TCU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and completed a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University -- Commerce.

Ms. Kimbley lives in Arlington with her fiancé, TJ, and her spoiled dog, Zoey. Her hobbies include cooking, listening to music, reading, and spending time with her family.

Her favorite subject to teach is writing, because she enjoys helping students find their voice as a writer and develop their confidence in expressing themselves.
