Megan Haley

 

Megan Haley is a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). She supports scholars of the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard through special education evaluations/case management, providing counseling and social skills training, and consultation with school staff, families, and outside agencies. In addition to working at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard, she also assists two other schools and coordinates the Fort Worth ISD Autism Support Team. She is originally from North Carolina, but has lived in Texas for more than 20 years. Ms. Haley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Abilene Christian University and her Specialist in School Psychology degree through Texas Woman's University. Personally she enjoys reading, knitting, baking, and spending time with her husband and son.

Angelica Mejia

 

Ms. Mejia, born in Mexico and raised in the border town of Brownsville, Texas, comes from descendants of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas. 

Ms. Mejia is a first-generation college graduate and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master's of Education in Bilingual and Bicultural Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. 

Fort Worth has been her home since 2010 when she began her teaching career. Ms. Mejia has taught all subjects K-5th grade. 

Ms. Mejia is also a mom to a fun, active, and curious one-year-old. She is an artist by hobby and loves visiting museums, bookstores, coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Mejia loves reading Science Fiction and Fantasy. 

This year she is the Special Education Math teacher here at L.A.M.B. Ms. Mejia believes that a little progress each day adds up to big results.

Jennifer Rakowski

 

While not new to our campus, Jennifer is new to the position of Diagnostician. She just came to us a few weeks ago and we are so happy to have her back on our campus.

Alexandra Ritter

 

Mrs. Ritter is in her fifth year as a speech-language pathologist. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Augustana College and her Master’s Degree from TCU. Mrs. Ritter works primarily with students ages Pre-K through 5th grade at multiple campuses across the district. She serves on the SLP Bilingual Team and Language & Literacy Support Team. Mrs. Ritter strives to make her time with the students a safe place where they can dream dreams and set goals they can achieve. She has a passion for child literacy and ensuring that each student she serves has a voice to be heard.

Mrs. Ritter enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outdoors.

Keisha Shears

 

Hello. My name is Ms. Shears. I have worked as an educator in Fort Worth ISD for 25 years. I have served as a Classroom Teacher, Title I Interventionist, Campus Literacy Coach, Reading Recovery Teacher, and currently as a Dyslexia Teacher. I enjoy working with students, and it brings me a special joy to watch them gain confidence and skills important for a lifetime of success.

I am a proud graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School in ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø. I continued my education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Texas in 1998. I graduated with a Master's of Education in Advanced Literacy with a Reading Specialization from Concordia University Texas in 2018.
