Mrs. Al Rashdan is excited to be part of the  Leadership Academy at Mitchell Blvd.  She has lived all over the United States and has taught in both Arizona and Texas. She has a Master's in Educational Administration from Stephen F. Austin. She has been teaching for more than 20 years. She was the Teacher of the Year in May 2022, here at the L.A.M.B.. She won the Teaching Chair of Excellence in Early Childhood in November 2022.  Most of her time has been in the wonderful world of Kindergarten.

Mrs. Al Rashdan has a teenager, husband, mother, 2 cats and dog at home that she loves dearly. When she is not teaching, she spends time with her family, traveling, and playing games. She believes that all children are successful from the very beginning and wants to support your child as they reach the success they deserve.

Miss Hickson is the lead kindergarten teacher at The Leadership Academy at Mitchell Blvd.  She was born and raised in Fort Worth and is a product of ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø school district. She graduated from Texas Southern University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.   

This is her 5th year teaching at The Leadership Academy at Mitchell Blvd. She looks forward to working with her scholars and watching how much they learn and grow. One day she will write a book about all the funny things her scholars say!  

Miss Hickson has a 4 year old daughter who she loves dearly.  When she is not teaching she loves traveling, watching movies and spending time with her family.  

She developed her love for teaching from a long line of teachers in her family. She believes it takes a big heart to shape little minds. 

Hello! I am Mrs. Palacios and I am very excited to be able to serve you as the Dual Language Kindergarten teacher this school year. This will be my 4th year teaching at the Leadership Academy at Mitchell Boulevard. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 1 year old son. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
