Hello! My name is Liliana Vargas. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  I attended ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø from elementary all the way to high school. I graduated Texas Tech University where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.

In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with my family.

I am super excited to be teaching at Sam Rosen Elementary. I strive to help all my students discover their full potential and instill in them the importance of academics as they will become our future leaders. I am excited to start a new school year and look forward to making many wonderful memories with my students. Go Eagles!

Dual Language Third Grade Teacher

Hello all. My name is Christian Peña and I will be joining the third grade team! This will be my 6th year in ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø after 9 years of teaching in the Head Start program. I have been married for 13 years and have a 1st grader also attending Sam Rosen. During my free time, I enjoy crafting, hiking, and spending time with my family. I am excited to be back in the community which watched me grow, and even more so to be a part of the Sam Rosen Eagles!

Ms. Elizabeth Trevino

Third Grade Regular Program

My name is Elizabeth Trevino. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. I have taught Pre-k, 2nd, and this upcoming school year, I am excited to join the 3rd-grade team at Sam Rosen.

During my free time, I enjoy going for early morning runs, participating in 5ks, 10Ks, and Half marathons! I love spending time with my family watching sports (Go Cowboys!) and traveling to the most magical place, Disney World.

I believe that building relationships with each student and parent will positively affect a student's academic success. I look forward to a successful school year.
