I attended The University of Texas at Arlington where I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in Mansfield over ten years ago and am excited to continue my second year teaching 3rd grade literacy at NHM.

I currently live in Fort Worth with my husband Daniel and our daughter, Kennedy. Daniel and I met in high school and have been together for 10 years! Our daughter, Kennedy, is five years old, and will attend Kindergarten here at NHM.

Love yoga and and exercise, cooking and book clubs, love EPL Soccer: favorite team: Liverpool, Interesting fact: I am a brain cancer survivor and advocate for the National Brain Tumor Society.

My name is Lauren Braden, and I am so excited to join the North Hi Mount Family! This is my third year teaching and my first year in 3^rd grade! I moved from Denton ISD where I previously taught 5^th grade. I grew up in Southern California and moved to Dallas three years ago. I received my bachelor's degree and completed student teaching at Concordia University of Irvine. During my four years there, I competed on the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Team. I am very passionate about volleyball and have coached high school and club volleyball for the last five years. I am very excited for this new journey at North Hi Mount and cannot wait for a great year as an eagle!
