Mr. David Paraham

I am so excited to be serving as Principal at the amazing Woodway Elementary, home of the Wildcats! Wildcat pride is highly evident and I will continue supporting our mission and vision. I take the charge of campus principal with the utmost sense of urgency as I lead our team towards amazing student achievement and outcomes. With your partnership and commitment, we can help all of our scholars achieve their goals and become productive and responsible citizens who impactfully contribute to society and our local communities. The sky is the limit!

I believe ALL students can learn and grow and that our mission as educators is to provide a daily, highly-engaging, energetic and exploratory learning experience and environment in which students will thrive. I vision a campus in which students and staff love to come to school daily. Students are excited about learning and will participate in amazing learning experiences. Teachers will deliver highly-energized learning experiences. Visitors and guests will feel an amazing energy and high levels of customer service on our campus.  Our team will provide the highest levels of service as we meet the needs of our scholars together.

I have an open-door policy in which any concerns or needs you have can be discussed. I open collaboration on how we can enhance the experience of our scholars and community.

Mrs. Danette Kirvin

Mrs. Kirvin grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and is a product of the school system for which she now serves. She began her teaching career as an adjunct faculty member at Richland College for 5 year. She taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Glen Park Elementary, and has worked with PreKindergarten through 5th grade as a campus literacy coach. She served as a 黑洞社区 literacy coach for 5 years. 

Mrs. Kirvin was chosen as a Principal Resident to serve at Lowery Road Elementary supported by a special leadership grant between 黑洞社区 and University of Texas in Arlington. Additionally, Mrs. Kirvin served as a Learning Network Specialist for four RISE schools.

Mrs. Kirvin currently serves as the assistant principal at Woodway Elementary. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LeTourneau University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
