• Boys Soccer Playoffs

    The Varsity Boys Soccer took on Poly Friday night in the the Bi-District Round of the playoffs.  The Yellowjackets were able to come away with a 2-0 victory and take on Aledo in the Area round next week.

    Thursday, March 2: Varsity Boys soccer celebrated Senior Night at home to Northside with a 4-0 commanding victory. Seniors were honored prior to the opening kickoff. Michael Sommerville opened the scoring in the first minute off an assist from Jared Parga. Mazin Elhassan doubled Heights lead in the 9th minute off an assist from Michael Sommerville. Jovani Parga made it 3-0 with a thunder strike 5 minutes from full-time, and Michael Sommerville added his second with two minutes left to finish off a dominating 4-0 game.
     
     
    Thursday, March 2: JVA Boys soccer lost to Northside 2-1 at Heights. Alex Sigala opened the scoring from a 20 yard free kick 18 minutes into the game, but Heights were edged out in a hard fought contest 2-1.
     
     
    Next up: Both teams travel to Trimble Tech on Saturday, March 4th.

    Saturday, February 18th:

    Varsity Boys soccer won on the road at Southwest High School 6-0. Mazin Elhassan scored in the second minute to open the scoring, before adding a second half goal. Michael Sommerville scored off a free kick by Dorian Vejagas. Jovani Barga scored off an assist from MichaelSommerville. Jack Wyatt scored off a cross by Tate Buffington, and Jovani finished the scoring with his second 21 minutes into the second half.

    JVA Boys soccer won on the road at Southwest High School 4-0. Alejandro Morales scored off an assist from Basil Elhassan. Carson Rodriguez scored off a corner kick from Alex Segala.  Chris Summers finished off the scoring with a penalty kick.

    Thursday, February 16th: Varsity boys soccer defeated YMLA 7-0 at Dunbar High School. MichaelSommerville had a hat-trick, Holden Carroll and Jovani Barga also added goals.

    JV A Boys Soccer

    The JV A Boys defeated YMLA 12-1 on Thursday evening at Dunbar High School.  Goals were scored by Luis Guerrero, Alex Segala, Basil Elhassan, Ben Phillips and Chris Summers.  Overall the boys played their most dominant game of the season

    Varsity Boys Soccer

    The Varsity Boys ended full-time tied at home to Western Hills in a game that Heights dominated play and possession, but Heights pulled out the victory 4-3 in penalties.

    The JV A Boys lost a close game at home to Western Hills 1-0.

    Varsity Boys Soccer

    The Varsity Boys Soccer team dominated Trimble Tech at Heights with a 6-2 victory. Mazin Elhassan scored in the second minute off an assist from Michael Sommerville; then, Mazin scored again two minutes later before returning the favor by setting up Michael Sommerville 8 minutes in for a 3-0 lead. Michael Sommerville scored two more, Mazin Elhassan assisted one of those, and Holden Carroll added a goal from a corner kick. Overall, a great night for boys soccer…by way of recap: Michael Sommerville 3 goals and 1 assist; Mazin Elhassan 2 goals and 2 assists, Holden Carroll 1 goal.

    JVA Boys Soccer

    the JV A Boys returned to their winning ways with a 1-0 home win against Trimble Tech. Luis Guerrero scored with 26 minutes left in the game following a sublime assist from Basil Elhassan.

    Boys Soccer

    On Thursday, February 2, the boys JV A lost 2-1 at home to South Hills High School. Chris Summers scored the lone Heights goal.  Also on Thursday, the varsity boys lost at home to South Hills, 3-nil.  Thursday was a rough night for the boys, but they look to bounce back on Saturday at Northside.
