Hats off to the North Side High School Class of 2024!

We applaud your outstanding achievements. Among the seniors in the graduating class, seven were awarded scholarships through the TCU Community Scholar program, 91 are headed to Texas Wesleyan University on scholarship and 10 are expected to earn their associate degree from Tarrant County College via the P-TECH program.

Richard Perez

Richard Perez is a Gates Scholar who is attending Dartmouth College on a full scholarship. Ranked at the top of his senior class, Richard is class president, student council vice president and the National Honor Society Vice President. He also served on the Superintendent Student Advisory Committee.

Perla Clayborne

Perla Clayborne plans to attend Texas Woman’s University. A P-TECH student, she’s working towards becoming an EMT with aspirations of working as a Search and Rescue firefighter.

Arianna Anderson

Arianna Anderson plans to attend Prairie View A & M University. “I want to attend Prairie View because it is an HBCU school and I want to connect with my culture,” she said.

Yesenia Rubio

Yesenia Rubio is a TCU Community Scholar recipient. On a full scholarship, Yesenia is pursuing a major in social work. She has aspirations of becoming a social worker with a focus on children.

Delores “Lola” Mills plans to attend the University of North Texas and major in business with a minor in fashion. Lola’s future goal is to become a fashion stylist.

Mariana Parra

Ranked at the top of her class, Mariana Parra earned a scholarship to Vanderbilt University through the QuestBridge program. She completed her CNA certification last year and will complete her associate degree this semester. The last three summers, she’s participated in the prestigious (MS)²program.
