Mrs. Sarah Batt

I am excited to be returning this year to the wonderful community at Seminary Hills Park Elementary. I began my teaching career at the preschool level in Southern California and am glad to have the opportunity to watch the children grow this year. I have taught Special Education in Savannah, GA and Bluffton, SC. At home, I have a supportive husband and three grown children as well as my pack of funny dogs.

Mr. Dustin Forbus

Mr. Forbus was born in Bedford, Texas and started his education career as a teaching assistant in Lake Worth, Texas. It was in Lake Worth that he realized his passion and interest in Special Education. He received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Texas in 2011 and continued to work in Special Education at Guyer High School in Denton, Texas as a Special Education facilitator.  While in Denton, he completed an alternative certification program that led him to be a certified teacher in 2014.  Soon after becoming certified, he was blessed enough to become part of the Rosemont Elementary family.  Mr. Forbus is now enthusiastic about being a part of Seminary Hills Park Elementary for his 10th year as a Special Education teacher where “SHP is the place to bee!”
