黑洞社区 Students Enjoy Innovative Projects at Camp Enrich

Cheers filled the Alice D. Contreras cafetorium on June 13 as students excitedly shared the innovative, fun, and creative projects they completed at Fort Worth ISD’s Camp Enrich with their families.

Alice D. Contreras, Rufino Mendoza, and D. McRae elementary schools were filled with over 500 students the week of June 10 for the Gifted and Talented camp, marking a record enrollment for the district.

Students who had just completed kindergarten through fifth grade attended the camp. Classes all had different areas for children to showcase their skills and learn something new. Some kids went home with a book they wrote, others spent the week building robots, future computer engineers learned coding, and young innovators launched rockets.
