The 2023 2×2 Reading List is Here!

2X2The Texas Library Association is delighted to announce the arrival of the !

These beautifully illustrated, often witty and instructive volumes are the best of recent books meant for children aged two to grade two. Librarians serving on the Texas Library Association Children’s Round Table 2X2 Committee read through hundreds of books before narrowing down the list to those selected.

The  can be read to small children, as well as read by young readers. The list was developed to give parents, caregivers and teachers a curated list of quality books. They are excellent books for storytime at the library or school, bedtime with a parent or grandparent or fun reading at any time.

Make class copies of the Texas 2X2 Reading Log and have students color in the book title after the book is read and an activity has been completed.
