Adult education student Melanie Lisseth Intriago Manjoud was named 2023 Texas Workforce Commission Adult Education & Literacy Scholar of the Year! In 2021 this Caracas, Venezuela, native began English as a Second Language classes through the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Department of Adult Education Department. Her hard work and dedication resulted in her recently being inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society. She is an ideal example of resilience, passion and the pursuit of a better future despite daunting adversity.
